Who Should Attend? Our math institutes are designed for classroom teachers in kindergarten through grade 8, Title I teachers, math coaches, teacher leaders, supervisors, curriculum directors, resource teachers, principals, and preservice teachers. We welcome attendance by special education teachers, especially when their students' level of ability lies within the typical K–8 range.
Logistical InformationGenerally, math institute hours are from 8:30 A.M. to 3:45 P.M., Monday through Thursday, with early dismissal on Friday at 3:00. Math Solutions instructors typically allow one hour for lunch (on your own, unless otherwise specified) as well as several shorter breaks throughout the day.
Participants are responsible for their own hotel arrangements and expenses. We encourage you to await registration confirmation prior to booking airline travel.

Certificate of AttendanceCertificates of Attendance are provided for participants who complete the full math institute.
Registration Confirmation For all courses, participants receive a letter confirming enrollment and detailing location, times, materials to bring, parking information, nearby hotels, college credit information, and more. Math Solutions sends this letter several weeks ahead of the course.
Cancellation Policy If Math Solutions receives written notice of cancellation at least 30 days before the first day of the course, a full refund will be made. If written cancellation is received fewer than 30 days prior to the course, a processing fee of $100 per participant will be charged. Participants who have not provided written cancellation according to this policy and do not attend the course forfeit the entire registration fee. Participants who have registered through the host district may be subject to the district's inservice cancellation policy.
Course Attendance We discourage enrollment in a course if you know you’ll miss part of the week. Each day of the course builds on the previous day; therefore, it's difficult to achieve the fullest experience when sessions are missed. Assignments done on one day are used in some way on the following day and throughout the week. For these reasons, participants may not "share" the week of the course with another participant.
